A real-time strategy game set in space, expanding on the original Mac game, Pax Imperia. The aim of the game is to achieve dominion over the entire galaxy by defeating all enemy groups. Explore and colonize hundreds of inhabitable worlds as one of eight races (as well as the option to create your own.) Manage the development of your planets' precious resources as you research and develop over 350 technologies. Forge strategic alliances and treaties with other empires, subvert and undermine your enemies, or crush resistance using the game's dedicated combat engine. Also, go head-to-head with 16 computer or human opponents in battle.
As the Emperor of Pax Imperia, you create a star-spanning civilization that will, with the right planning, lead to galactic domination. Manage your resources, balance multiplanet economies, and battle some of the most powerful sovereigns in the known universe. Explore and colonize 800 different worlds and do battle with forces greater than anything you've ever encountered before. Command tactical maneuvers with a state-of-the-art real-time combat engine, while mastering the art of foreign diplomacy to ally yourself with other powers.
